In the summer l conducted a ceremony for the internment of my Mother in Laws ashes . My husbands family and some of mine were the only ones allowed to attend it was a small gathering. At the end of the ceremony my brother said Sis you need a look. People attending a ceremony need to know immediately who is in charge. Well l thought about this . A hat ? No my head is too big ! Different colour hair ? Nah my heads too big ? Oprah glasses ? Mmm my heads too big and l love glasses don’t want the same ones all the time.
l have always loved Kente cloth ,so after a search l have settled on a Kente cloth scarf .
